SUMMER ADVANTAGE
Statistic show students lose up to 2.6 months of grade equivalency in mathematics and up to 2 months of reading skills during the summer months. Don't let your child become a statistic. At the Academic Advantage Summer Advantage Program we work with your child to maintain grade levels from the previous year and introduce concepts for the upcoming school year.
Our philosophy is students should enjoy learning, especially during the summer months. Our highly motivated and energetic teachers will keep your child working while they have fun. Older students will learn integer operations as they balance their checkbook, practice calculating the tip and sales tax on a restaurant bill, learn the parts of speech while playing Jeopardy! While younger students will take a ride on the Reading Roadway, learn how to edit a newspaper while playing Go TO Press, and practice their fraction skills with Auntie Ann's Pasta Game!
